Rules and Procedures
- The rules for this line dance competition shall be the IAGLCWDC Individual Line Dance Competition Rules.
- There will be no more than eight (8) competitors per heat.
- Attendance at the Competitor's Meeting just prior to competition is vital.
- Required attire shall be in accordance with IAGLCWDC Individual Line Dance Competition Rules and must be adhered to.
- Single dance and overall placement sheets will be made available to the competitors only, after the Awards presentation. There shall be no critique sheets provided to competitors.
- Dancers will be required to wear a three-digit number printed on a half-sheet of paper that is safety-pinned at its four corners to the back of the shirt (or optionally to the seat of the pants). Please plan your costumes accordingly.

Divisions
- Competitors are responsible to check the Rules to make sure they qualify for the division of their choice.
- 3 divisions of competition:
- Beginner - three dances
- Intermediate - three dances
- Advanced - three dances
- Each competitor may enter only one of the three divisions.
- Competitors may compete only in the dances of the division in which they enter.
- Competitors must compete in all three dances of the division in which they enter in order to qualify for that division's overall champion award.

Awards
- Awards for the top three competitors in each dance.
- Awards for the overall champion of each division.
- All competitors shall be recognized at the awards ceremony, however only the top three competitors of each dance and the overall winners of each division shall be announced.

Dances, Music, Step Sheets
- The IAGLCWDC's 2007 Line Dances Music List & Step Sheets page provides complete information about each dance, the song to which it will be danced, its BPM (Beats Per Minute), the artist who sings the song, the name of the CD on which the artist has recorded the song, and a link to its official IAGLCWDC step sheet.
- Contestants who enter the competition early enough may contact the Competition Director if they need assistance in locating rehearsal music.
